Job Description

Job Title: Internal Verifier - Financial ServicesJob Type: PermanentSalary: £32000.00 - £40000.00 Per Annum, depending on experienceLocation: Remote working but need to be based in ScotlandWe are looking for a QSS or IV with a clear understanding of Scottish delivery, Level 3 qualification in providing financial services and a strong Financial Services background to join our team.Summary of roleStandardisation of delivery, improvement of internal practice and raising quality across the group in line with external and regulatory requirements. IV work in financial services and pan sector apprenticeship programmes.As a Internal Verifier you will:

  • Liaise regularly with the Quality and Standards Manager to continuously improve assessment and verification processes and practice across the organisation in line with company internal quality assurance (IQA) strategy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for your area of expertise - for this role Financial Services.
  • Support a range of departments to ensure robust standardisation of Assessment/Verification practices.
  • Organise and facilitate external verification meetings as per Awarding organisations requirements.
  • To manage the coordination/observation of learner journey key processes to include and inform CPD for all delivery staff.
  • To manage the internal and external assurance of the learner and customer experience including supporting inspections (Ofsted, SDS, ETI, Estyn) and Matrix inspections.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Financial Services Qualification
  • Assessors/Internal Verifier Award or Equivalent
  • IQA Award or Equivalent
  • Experience of working within the Financial Services Sector
  • Experience of working in an educational environment
  • Experience of working in an educational environment and delivery of educational programmes.
