INTERNAL SALES TEAM LEADER£30,000 - £35,000The company Cullen are manufacturers of moulded pulp and corrugated packaging. For nearly 100 years we’ve worked with brands to enhance the appeal of their product both environmentally and on the shelf.Cullen have manufactured corrugated packaging since 1921. Today we work with brands to protect products in transit and enhance their shelf-edge appeal. Our product range includes retail ready packaging, 4/6 corner glued trays and die cut boxes.Your new roleDue to a sustained and exciting period of growth, we are looking to add to our Corrugate Internal Sales Team, with the appointment of a Team Leader to manage the function.The position involves managing a small team who deal with existing customer queries and orders, as well as acting as first point of contact for new sales enquiries. Your team will deal with customer enquiries and quotations, process customer orders, handle ongoing accounts, developing and building upon existing relationships, providing first-class customer service and order updates. Finally, they will manage sales enquiries, handling and completing some enquiries directly, or liaising with the Business Development Manager for larger-scale opportunities.Your role would be the day-to-day management of the function, You will be responsible for ensuring that excellent customer service levels are maintained at all times, resolving queries in a timely manner, and processing all orders accurately and swiftly. You will lead the team; including reviewing performance, coaching and absence management. You will play a vital role in setting the standards, and culture for the team, ensuring a positive and goal-orientated environment is maintained.What you need to succeedTeam management experience in a manufacturing or FMCG internal sales / customer service position is essential for this role.You will have demonstrable leadership and management skills, adept at all facets of daily running of a small, busy and successful internal sales / customer service function. You will have a ‘lead from the front’ mentality and be motivated by achieving targets, maintaining amazing customer service, and leading your team to achieve collective and individual goals. You will be IT literate and comfortable tracking progress, orders and KPIs using an internal sales system.What you will receiveYou will have the opportunity to join Cullen during a very exciting period in their history as they continue to grow and develop their business both in the UK and Internationally.You will receive a highly competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000. The holiday allowance is 20 days + bank holidays per annum.Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.45am till 5pm
