Job Description

Are you an accomplished Internal Audit professional with a proven track record in leading successful teams Meraki Talent is working alongside a Top 10 Chartered Accountancy Firm seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join and lead their Internal Audit Division as a Senior Manager. This is a unique opportunity to be a key player in one of the top firms in the industry, contributing to the growth and success of their operations in Scotland.Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of internal audit professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans aligned with business objectives, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate key risks, ensuring that adequate controls are in place to mitigate these risks effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous internal audit methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations to enhance their internal controls and processes.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the continuous development of team members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
  • Innovation: Drive the adoption of innovative audit techniques and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Professional Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Experience in internal audit, with a strong background in leading and managing teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in internal audit.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
