Job Description

We have an opportunity available for an Interim Head of HR on a 12month contract basis, paying up to £390 per day (inside IR35).This is a full time position and will offer hybrid working, with offices based in Edinburgh and Glasgow.The Interim Head of HR will lead the HR function, including resourcing, employee relations, people data and workforce planning.Role

  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate HR activity across the business
  • Coach the HR Team to develop the HR ability across the business ensuring the delivery of agreed outcomes
  • Engage with a broad range of stakeholders, develop, communicate, and implement HR strategies and associated delivery plans aligned with our HROD critical path
  • Support the corporate objectives and values, moving forward as a growing and developing digital business
  • Supporting the workforce planning lead to develop and embed strategic workforce planning, providing key data sets and insights to the Strategic Workforce Planning Group
  • Develop HR data services, designing and delivering effective data capture, reporting and business insights capability
  • Support the resourcing strategy in conjunction with the resourcing manager
  • Lead with the development and implementation of HR policy across all areas of the business
  • Provide expert employee relations advice and guidance to complex cases
Skills and experience
  • MCIPD/FCIPD, or equivalent)
  • Ability to work in a challenging and transforming business environment
  • Able to demonstrate a developed understanding of employee relations and employment law, with experience of consultation and negotiation with trade unions/employee groups
  • Able to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of strategic workforce planning, together with proven experience
