As a Barclays Integration Developer, this is an exciting opportunity where you will join the Wealth Technology team based in Glasgow, working virtually with other members in London and Pune too. Being Integration Developer means you will take ownershipdeveloping, enhancing and supporting the Wealth & Investments and Private Bank integration with Salesforce like platform. We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing You will collaborate with Business Analysts and lead on the team to align possible solutions Determining effort estimates for units of work as and when required Taking full ownership of the new features under development and take responsibility for timely delivery Participating in Level 3 production support. Carry out root cause analysis of issues and demonstrate creative tenacity to find solutions Deploying and testing developed components on lower environments and prepare packages for PROD releases You will adhere to enterprise scale DevOps processes What were looking for: You have a Bachelors/Masters or equivalent degree from a recognized university Minimum 3 years of experience in programming in JAVA language Broad experience in using Open Source or 3rd Party Libraries such as Log4j, Hibernate, Liquibase erc. Have a good command on service patterns and protocols covering Web Services, API, REST, RPC. Experience of using API test frameworks Skills that will help you in the role: Proficiency with messaging systems covering RabbitMQ, Kafka & Mule Very good understanding of writing and debugging of code Good knowledge of Angular/react framework, HTML and front end programming principles Good unit testing practice Where will you be workingGlasgow - New CampusOur new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration.
