Job Description

Job Title: IFA AdministratorLocation: GlasgowSalary: £24,000 - £28,000Are you an experienced Financial Administrator looking for a changeJoin a dynamic team and make a significant impact as an IFA Administrator with our thriving client in Glasgow city centre. They are seeking a talented individual with a passion for providing top-notch support and a background in financial planning or wealthmanagement.If you are a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a close-knit office environment, this role is perfect for you.This is a full-time permanent position, and will be predominantly office based. Standard hours of work between Monday to Friday with a degree of flexibility to suit your needs.What will you be doing

  • Deliver exceptional support to the Advisor, ensuring a seamless workflow and efficient client service
  • Collaborate with the Advisor to prepare and issue client advice, including conducting product research and coordinating with product providers
  • Produce client reviews by gathering product-specific information, such as switch fees, available funds, and charges
  • Handle pension transfers, drawdowns, and tax-free allowances, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Generate client advice, correspondence, and enclosures to maintain effective communication
  • Manage the end-to-end process for all new business, ensuring a smooth and successful conclusion
  • Maintain task schedules and tracker spreadsheets to monitor service standards and improve efficiency
  • Compile and follow up on Letters of Authority, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Adhere to the FCAs Conduct Rules, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethical conduct
  • Perform diary management and reception duties to ensure smooth office operations
About you:
  • Proven administrative experience within the Financial Planning or Wealth Management industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of the sectors intricacies
  • Familiarity with Intelligent Office or similar software to efficiently carry out administrative tasks
  • Comfortable working predominantly in an office-based setting, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to interact effectively with clients, product providers, and colleagues
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently, taking ownership of your responsibilities
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
