Job Description

Our client, an expanding logistics business is looking to recruit an HR & Payroll advisor for a newly created hybrid role. Based in Braehead, Glasgow the role reports into the HR Business partner who is based at another site. The purpose of the role is to managethe payroll process for the UK and be the key point of contact for all payroll issues and support HR by assisting with benefits, pensions and HR administration. There is also the opportunity to support the business in the absence of the HRBP.Role responsibilities

  • Be the HR advisory and recruitment support for designated UK sites
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • Collecting and inputting all payroll data within the required timelines
  • Commit payroll within specified time
  • Payroll reconciliation & monthly reporting
  • Work with HRBP & Finance to ensure all end of year HMRC paperwork is processed such as P60s, P11Ds.
  • Update Pension provider with any changes to personal details
  • Point of contact to resolve queries from employees concerning payroll
Person Specification
  • Knowledge of a payroll system essential
  • Strong excel knowledge

  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills
  • Confident to work in a changing environment
  • Able to use own initiative
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to working for an expanding and forward thinking organisation. The role is a 40 hours per week and is a mixture of home and office working. In return, you will receive a salary of between £33,000-£35,000plus bonus.
