Job Description

RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with one of Scotlands fastest-growing and most successful independent television production companies. Producing award-winning single films and series for major UK broadcasters and streaming services, we are an excitingand creative company based in Glasgow.We are looking to appoint an experienced HR Coordinator to work part-time and oversee the administration of the core HR processes in the company.Role Requirements

  • Youll be confident in working autonomously as well as within a team, reporting to several members of the senior management team on a regular basis.
  • Have experience of working in an HR coordinator role including overseeing payroll, must understand HR law and know when to refer to and seek HR legal advice from our HR advisors
  • Be organised, a good communicator, proactive, and able to lead and show initiative as well as follow instructions.
  • An understanding of the media industry would be desirable but not essential, youll be familiar with all types of employee engagement including PAYE, freelance and Personal Service Companies.
  • Experience of working with pensions would also be desirable.
  • Understanding of GDPR is essential.
HR coordinators will fulfil the following responsibilities outlined in the onboarding workflow:
  • Collating necessary paperwork required for contracting employees and uploading this to individual profile folders and portal profiles
  • Processing contract request forms by preparing the relevant contract, issuing it via Adobe e-sign and managing the signature process in a timely manner
  • Setting up individual profile pages on Bright HR
  • Managing employee leave in conjunction with line managers
  • Ensuring that this information is completely accurate and up to date
  • Carrying out regular audits of Bright HR
  • Collating monthly payroll information using an established system and supplying this to the finance team against a monthly deadline
  • Managing employee contract endings including leave summaries
  • The individual will occasionally be asked to help with company-wide HR-related reports including diversity and inclusion
  • Oversee the smooth running of all HR matters within the company
  • Ensure that contracts are issued within 1 day of the individuals start date as per HR regulations
  • Assist the finance and production management teams in managing a streamlined, efficient, and accurate HR and payroll systems
  • Demonstrate ownership of the running of the above systems, monitor processes and communication methods and suggest and implement changes where required.
  • Ensure that all employee information is accurate and up to date
