Job Description

Our client who is based in the Barrhead area. have a temporary role for an HR Assistant. .The hourly rate is £12.14 and based on Monday to Friday working pattern. The role will be until approximately November 2020.Candidates must have HR systems - iTrent and Resourcelink experienceMain duties:

  • To support with the implementation of the new HR system iTrent.
  • To process all HR Direct transactions and requests ensuring that targets are achieved and issues are escalated and resolved.
  • To prepare all employment contracts, support and assist in all aspects of the recruitment process and use of the recruitment portal within the HR Direct team and provide support to line managers in portal use.
  • To assist in the management of all hard copy personnel files and the link to the e-HR system.
  • To operate, maintain and update appropriate IT systems, spreadsheets and software applications as required as part of the HR service.
  • To ensure all transactions are processed efficiently using the e-HR system.
  • To ensure all employment contracts issued comply with the Council conditions of service.
  • Key skills:
  • Experience of working in a similar HR Administration role
  • Experience of recruitment and other HR transactional processes
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience of using either iTrent or Resourcelink HR systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Work, Excel & Outlook
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and on own initiative
  • Flexible approach as a team player
