Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics - Kalgoorlie, Western AustraliaEarnings between AUD$100,000-130,000 per annumAcorn Global Recruitment is partnering with Western Australias largest heavy haulage provider Centurion recruiting internationally for 3 Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics. Centurion were founded in 1971 and have developed into a full logistics provider delivering a comprehensive range of distribution, warehousing and project services. The 3 roles on offer will work from Centurions brand new Depot and Workshop due to be operation in January 2020. Working in Kalgoorlie, the majority of work will be ensuring off road freight, namely fuel tankers and triple quad road train are maintained and continue to be operational supplying the mining industry within the area with vital equipment and resources. You will also work on highways vehicles and bitumen work. You wile be working on a fleet of Kenworth Trucks and Cummins Engines, this is seriously big kit and requires suitably qualified and experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics to maintain it.Kalgoorlie is a unique environment with a real community feel suitable for single persons and families. This is an excellent opportunity to start a new life in Australia and enjoy the many benefits and adventures on offer.Role:* Diagnosis and fault finding in mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and servicing.* Service full fleet including trucks, trailers, doll s and motor vehicles* Replacement of brakes, suspension components and steering systems* Body Building including welding and grinding chassis or comb rails on flat top trailers* Auto Electrical work on all 12 or 24 volt systemsSafety:* Responsible and accountable for safe working environment adhering to Think Safe, Act Safe culture* Conform to quality systems and proceduresAbout You:* Recognised apprenticeship in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or above qualifications* Suitable post qualification experience gained in Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic role* Sound Mechanical knowledge* Appetite and ability to relocate to Australia with view to securing permanency after Visa periodAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
