Job Description

Head Waiter/Waitress | Alexandra Parade, Glasgow | Full Time40 Hours | From £10.50 per hourEstablished in 1982, our client is a well-established Italian Delicatessen Caf.If you have experience in Italian cuisine and have exceptional customer service, then this is an excellent opportunity for you!Are you the right person for the job

  • Passionate about Italian wines & cuisine
  • Committed to exceeding customer expectations
  • An excellent communicator and team player
  • Able to run a smooth service without the restaurant manager
  • Energetic and flexible enough to deal with the demands of a 7 day 7 night operation (working 5 days out of 7, contract 40hrs per week)
  • Able to work under pressure
What will your role look like
  • Opening and closing of the restaurant in the absence of the restaurant manager
  • Welcoming customers and taking orders
  • Serving food and drinks, quickly and efficiently
  • Being knowledgeable about the food and drinks on offer
  • Helping to deliver the growing excellent reputation
  • Upholding the excellent standard of customer service
  • Adhering to hygiene and health and safety regulations
  • General housekeeping throughout the restaurant and outside area
