NHS LanarkshireHead of Planning & DevelopmentGrade C - £64,962 to £86,019 per annumWe are seeking an exceptional leader to drive the successful delivery of clinical change and ensure the integration of change within NHS Lanarkshire through the Strategy Delivery Team structure. You will also lead our modernisation and project management function across NHS Lanarkshire.NHS Lanarkshire faces considerable challenges to deliver acute services across 3 DGH sites. It will require to maintain effective clinical services whilst meeting the challenges of workforce changes, other initiatives such as the Delivery Plan for Health and Social Care and the regional Delivery Plan. In meeting these challenges, along with maintaining excellent performance standards, you will be responsible for delivering the agreed change programme. This will include the implementation of capital changes in line with Achieving Excellence.You will drive our overall programme for clinical change across NHS Lanarkshire through the Strategy Delivery Team and its supporting structures. This will include ensuring an effective integrated service along with the two HSCPs to enable joint objectives to be achieved.You will lead a team which will ensure the implementation of clinical change is undertaken through an NHS wide whole-system redesign to provide clinically and financially sustainable services. This will include engagement and involvement of staff, other agencies, service users and carers, the public, politicians and other stakeholders.In order to achieve this effectively, you will work closely with the Director of Acute Services, Chief Officers of HSCPs as well as the Director of Planning, Property and Performance.You should have relevant demonstrable experience of effective leadership and management of teams as well as demonstrated success in merging numerous and simultaneous complex strategic and operational demands.
