Job Description

As a Barclays Head of Data Maintenance this is an exciting opportunity where you will act as overall custodian of the client hierarchies for Wholesale Clients, acting as product owner for the hierarchy data and definition (within the Enhanced Customer DataStore). You will oversee data remediation plan activity for wholesale data relating to Identify, Client Hierarchies and Wholesale Customer Data and implement robust plans to delivery Process and Control Improvements.   • Leading the operating model definition and operational process approach to create an Identity Service and manage the core Client Reference Data Utility team
  • Driving data remediation across the global Wholesale Customer processes, to create more efficient reporting, management information and accuracy
  • Liaising with technology partners to innovate new ideas to bring the service into the next level of offering
  • Identifying opportunities to collate existing information sources to enable improved customer experience
  • Supporting the end-to-end service management across Wholesale Customer and Identity Service, ensuring timely submission of key metrics
  • Owning of processes for Wholesale Customer maintenance and adherence to the Data Management Standards and business owner of the GDMS plans
  • Accountable for the delivery of remediation programmes of work to deliver on our internal and external commitments, including ownership of significant audit
  • Providing key representation at relevant corporate forums and committees to govern the SLAs and service provision across the mandate and audit letter services
What were looking for:
  • Solid leader and people motivator with experience in dealing with Senior Leaders and regulators
  • Background in developing plans and remediation of control weakness
  • A deep understanding of AML policies, rules, and regulations
  • Understands and appropriately navigates the three lines of defence eco-system with strong knowledge of Banking products within Wholesale and Consumer business units
Skills that will helpyou in the role:
  • BS Degree: Masters preferred
  • Significant Experience in AML functions
  • Extensive Experience and understanding in a leadership or management capacity
  • Experience with improving controls and managing regulatory exam issues
