Graduate Surveyor- TelecomsYou will be tasked to work on a major new works projects alongside our existing Surveyors with one of the leading telecoms companies within the UK. The focus of the work will be to survey 3rd party infrastructure to assess and record its suitability and document any proposed network upgrades/installations. Your primary task will be surveying sites to put up Towers Masts Monopole. The role will be based from home reporting to a central project team on a daily basis to confirm scheduled works, completion of external survey tasks and ongoing task management.* This role is based full-time remotely. Prolonged periods of driving and physically walking to inspect telecoms infrastructure hardware/street furniture will be required to fulfil this role* Main Outline Duties and Person Requirement:Surveying 3rd party infrastructure for the placement of Telecoms equipment in an external environment or installation.Survey of various telecommunications plant is essential for this role, but training will be provided to the right candidate if experience is limited.Other surveying work will also be undertaken and training will be provided.Taking GPS measurements, digital images as appropriate, recording plant suitability and identifying risks.Owning, executing and delivering survey requirements within a geographic regionHighlight and escalate major variances to the nominated desk based planner.Flexible approach in dealing with amendments to allocated informationEnsure accurate completion of all survey submissions and work is completed on time with accuracy.The Typical personal attributes (skills, aptitude and understandings) might include:Civils and cabling experience in a Telecom environment (maybe a civils background), training will be given if limited experience is held to the successful candidate.PIA experience would be beneficial to the applicant.Able to communicate with people across multiple locations and at different levels, able to identify and work with key stakeholders inside and outside of the business.Attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a can do’ attitude.A total awareness and understanding of current health and safety procedures for working in the UK is essential.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and being PC literate.A valid and appropriate UK driving licence will be required to perform this role as driving is required.What we’ll offer:A career in a fast-paced telecoms company where you are given the tools to succeedA competitive salary depending on experienceA company car, fuel card, expenses, accommodation (if required and will be a recognised establishment)A full induction, regular reviews and 1:1s25 days holiday in addition to bank holidaysA Pension Employer contribution A comprehensive employee benefits packagePhysical DemandsThis role is based full-time remotely.
