Our client, a prestigious engineering firm, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Bridge Engineer.As a Bridge Engineer, you will be an integral part of the company, specializing in designing and delivering exceptional bridge structures. You will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, from iconic urban bridges to large-scale infrastructuredevelopments.   • Utilize your technical skills and knowledge to design and analyze bridge structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers and architects to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare accurate engineering calculations, specifications, and construction drawings using industry-standard software and tools.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing bridge conditions, identify potential issues, and propose appropriate design modifications or repairs.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to address their needs, provide technical guidance, and resolve design-related challenges.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in bridge design, including proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, Midas, LUSAS) and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • In-depth knowledge of bridge engineering principles, codes (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes), and construction methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop efficient and safe design solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Professional licensure or working towards licensure is preferred.
