Job Description

Technical Business Development Manager

  • Competitive base salary.

  • Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Directly responsible for the growth of our geotechnical software portfolio within civil Engineering and energy industries, including PLAXIS.
  • Managing a large number of accounts that we have developed over the last 20 years.
  • You will also be encouraged to sell our complementary simulation and risk management solutions, such as seismic analysis, wind engineering, building physics and control system assessment
  • About You
  • An understanding of the application of engineering simulation or complementary digital technologies within the built environment or related sectors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present solutions clearly and convincingly to both large and small, technical and non-specialist, audiences at a senior level.
  • Team-player who can work effectively with commercial and technical colleagues.
  • An understanding of geotechnical engineering.
  • Previous B2B sales experience within civil engineering or energy industries.
  • Qualification to degree, HND or equivalent level in an engineering or related subject.
