Job Description

General Manager - HospitalityLocation: GlasgowJob Type: Full-time and permanentSalary circa. £65,000 per annum + benefitsWe are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead a well-known hospitality, restaurant and events business inGlasgow. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a flair for creating memorable events and a proven track record inthe hospitality industry.Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee all aspects of the hospitality events business, including operations, finances, marketing, and staff management.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements to ensure financial success.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team to exceed customer expectations and deliver high-quality events.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and adapt strategies to meet changing customer needs.
  • Uphold the highest standards of service and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, events or catering preferred.
  • Demonstrable success in delivering high-quality events and customer service.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Robust business acumen and financial literacy.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with a keen eye for adapting to market trends.
