Award-winning Digital Agency, with a 10+ year pedigree of delivering world-class solutions to an impressive list of clients. The company are based in Glasgow, although like many, have no real plans to head back to the office for some time - so a lot of remote working is on offer. They have developed a market-leading product, with a suite of modern technologies and are looking for an additional Developer to join their driven team. The company work with a range of modern technologies (PHP7, Laravel, AWS, Go, NodeJS, VueJS, ReactJS, Angular, TypeScript) although youre not expecting to know all of these technologies (that would be madness!) they are looking for people that can pick up tech fairly quickly and enjoy working with the latest tools. For this role, they are ideally looking for a Developer with strong knowledge of PHP & AWS, equally experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes etc) is important for this role. Youll be working in an experienced Dev team, as it stands, they are 5 strong and each have several years of commercial experience behind them - they are looking for a similar mould. Your day to day will involve working on the companys core product - being responsible for the AWS platform and Web Application capabilities (so its a bit of a Hybrid role). This would be really suited for a Software Developer that has a keen interest in everything cloud - youll be given plenty of training and opportunities for accreditations and career advancement to help you along the way. Youll ideally have experience with most of the following; ** PHP (exposure to Laravel, Symfony or Zend).** JavaScript (NodeJS &/Or VueJS would be handy!) ** AWS Infrastructure ** DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) The following is highly desirable; ** Experience working in an agency setting ** AWS Certifications ** Good Modern JavaScript / TypeScript knowledge. ** For this role, they have suggested if you havent quite ticked all the criteria - but are driven, ambitious and come with bags of personality they are willing to make some concessions. **The companys office is based in Glasgow City Centre (walking distance from local train stations), however they also offering fully remote working even after restrictions have been lifted. They are offering a salary for this up to £50k + Benefits for the right individual (obviously dependent on experience).
