As a Barclays Full Stack Developer, you will be working in and contributing to an application development team in Risk, Finance, and Treasury Technology, taking part in team projects and developing individual .NET applications and services. You will beworking with automation tools in an agile framework to deliver high quality applications when the business needs them. You will integrate with 3rd party applications to reuse functionality and data, and maintain and evolve existing applications to be in linewith the latest approaches and technologies. What will you be doing Designing developing and delivering innovative and tactical solutions Working closely with onshore and offshore developers within an agile environment to deliver on time to plan and on budget Working to and contributing to overall application design, translating business requirements into technical designs Understanding the current application architecture and roadmap Continually striving to develop yourself and stay abreast of new technologies Independently identifying repetitive or time consuming processes that can be automated What were looking for: Excellent working knowledge of .NET Core/ C#/ Web API and SQL Server Broad knowledge of best practice object oriented programming techniques and concepts (e.g. software design patterns, SOA, n-tier architecture) An excellent team worker with curiosity and desire to learn and improve themselves, as well as the environment in which they work Proven experience of automated testing techniques and tools Skills that will help you in the role: A Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science) Experience working with DevOps toolchain technologies (e.g. stash, Jenkins) Demonstrable working knowledge of the following technologies: Angular 7 or above, REST API, HTML, JSON, TypScript and CSS Broad knowledge and understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle, especially agile software development techniques Where will you be workingOur new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration.
