Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen at a specialist rehabilitation and recovery care provider based in the South-West of England for a Forensic Psychologist. They specialise in adult mental health illness - promotion of independence, health and social recovery through bespoke rehabilitation and care/support planning for adults.Forensic Psychologist – Key Skills

  • Two years significant experience of working with individuals with complex and forensic needs.
  • Registered as an Occupational Therapist or Registration within another related role.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability and confidence to generate and build effective relationships with colleagues, services users and external stakeholders.
  • Experienced in formulating care/support plans and risk assessments.
  • Able to assess and formulate recovery focused pathways across assessed needs.
  • Able to participate in multiagency working.
  • Experience of crisis mitigation and resolution
  • Experience and/or knowledge of positive behaviour support, positive risk management and active support models and strategies
