Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Scotland, is currently looking to recruit a Financial Processes Product Lead for an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend on a rate of £450-£480/day (inside of IR35). Due to the currentcircumstances this role will be remote based for the duration of the contract.Responsibilities:-Responsible for Project Planning, Improvement activities, governance, internal and external assurance activities and managing change.-Responsible for managing day to day project planning across a range of digital financial delivery projects concerning customer payments and corporate needs-Managing day to day project delivery on behalf of Financial Processing and Payment Product Owner, across a range of digital financial delivery projects using an array performance management tools-Engaging with wider stakeholders, develop project plans, testing and information cascade plans-Lead the development of project control documents, in line with the overarching programme management office framework and governance-Estimate and track the use of resources to ensure that your project is resourced appropriately in line with the project plan and that the resources have the capabilities and skills to deliver to the standard required to ensure success in the delivery of theproject.-Ensure the maintenance and update of supporting product risk, dependency and digital development tools that manage information and track milestones-Liaise with the relevant business leads and Product Owner, reporting progress according to the required programme reporting cycle.-Manage internal and external data assurance and compliance activities for your assigned project or technical/financial processes and payments product-Use available evidence to develop project plans that support the production of options appraisals and business cases, so that business decisions have appropriate evidence and justification-Support the management of an allocated budget.Essential Skills:-Proven and demonstrable track record in project management and delivery, working with Jira, in a financial environment including setting plans and priorities for yourself and others within a project structure.-Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support management of stakeholders across Scottish Government and Partner organisations .-Ability to collate, organise, analyse and use information to plan and deliver services, products and technology improvements.-Experience of supporting, providing guidance to and maintaining the governance and plans for, large, complex business and technical projects using recognised project management methodologies such as Agile and Prince 2.If you would like to hear more about these opportunities, please get in touch.
