We are going through an exciting period of expansion and seek to recruit into our Global HealthBenefits business which has over 30 million customer relationships in more than 200 countries and jurisdictions.Role Summary:As a Business Analyst, you will be supporting key Cigna strategic transformation programs with the objective of delivering efficiencies for the European (EGS) business.The position will play a critical role in driving increased usage of Automation in the Finance, Actuarial and Underwriting function (FA&U). Alteryx, Blue Prism and Tableau capabilities are being implemented across Cigna; your role will be to drive furtherusage and efficiency benefits in the short term, in parallel to developing the overall mid-long term roadmap.The role is a hybrid of Project Delivery responsibilities, and some Technical delivery. The ideal candidate will have had experience of creating Alteryxworkflows and will have an appetite for partnering with subject matter experts to develop Alteryxworkflowsolutions in our Finance Actuarial & Underwriting teams. This responsibility will be balanced 50/50 with BA and PMO responsibilities.Cigna will provide access to Alteryx training as part of the role on-boarding.Responsibilities:Project Delivery

• Work with the Lead Business Analyst to maintain Finance Automation governance model, putting in place best practice and improvements as required
• Own aspects of the governance model, including meetings, and planning and reporting as required. This will include but not restricted to: Weekly/Monthly meetings (US and European and Global Segments Finance and IT stakeholders), Tracking and reporting onproject progress and benefit tracking
• Support the Finance intake process for new Automation projects
• Co-ordination with the "champions" for ensuring project outcomes are displayed to the business to further spur idea generation for intake of new projects.
• Support the Finance Automation pipeline, including leading on prioritisation recommendations for the governance committee
• Support a continuous improvement approach for Finance Automation
• Support the build of the 2022 Automation delivery Roadmap and develop the 2-3 year Automation strategy
• Provide an analytical and methodical approach to identifying ways to drive further Automation into the FA&U function
• Training and guides: Own creation and maintain the Automation knowledgebase, connecting between customer journeys, business processes, and system applications
• Assist in the documentation of processes, help guides as well as assisting with reviews of training material and resolve business queries
• Resolve business related queries, working with technical teams during build phase(s)
• Work with 3rd parties, including Genpact and Big4 consultancy teams to delivery increased Automation

Technical Delivery

• Partner with key subject matter experts to identify Alteryx / Blue Prism opportunities
• Gather requirements and create Alteryx work flow solutions (note that Blue Prism technical development is undertaken by Genpact and does not form part of the role)
• Developing solution requirements, designing and prototyping, testing.
• Mapping data flows and identifying optimal design and governance options as well as potential data quality risks for automation and analytics business solutions
• Test solutions and work with US teams to promote to Production server

Primary Location: Hybrid: GlasgowSkills and Experience:

• Experience working within a PMO governance framework
• Preferred - Experience of working with Alteryx, either in a development capacity or as an end-user. Exposure to Blue Prism would also be beneficial
• Ability to manage the regular demands of an efficient governance model - focused and organised with ability to work to tight timelines and evolving priorities
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• A proven track record working in a complex business change environment
• Experience of modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
• Experience within Healthcare Insurance or Financial Services preferred
• Have a proven ability to manage own workloads under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate at all levels and provide information to a diverse stakeholder group
• Delivering well-structured communication both orally, in writing or through delivery of presentations.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Advanced Experience with- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook
