Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesWe all have a responsibility to embrace the changes of the FCDO as it transforms, building the culture we want to see and delivering our cultural statement in how we lead and behave towards others; how we make decisions and how we get the job done is everyonesresponsibility.In this role you will be responsible for:Contributing to FCDOs annual, interim and Whole of Government accounts.Acting as a key contact during National Audit Offices interim and year-end audits, liaising across the FCDO to respond to audit requests.Production of FCDOs balance sheet reconciliations. reporting on significant areas of risk.Offering advice and responding to queries from the wider business on FCDOs financial accounting policies (including write offs, VAT, fair valuation and taxation issues).Helping to implement recommendations raised by National Audit Office and Internal Audit.Working closely with colleagues in the team to support programme teams to design, manage, and exit programmes that involve financial assets.Helping to manage queries from programme teams on financial aspects of programme design, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and deliveryThe Successful ApplicantBehavioursWell assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:Seeing the big pictureCommunicating and influencingWorking TogetherWhats on Offer
