Job Description

Profile:Detillens is working with a top tier Financial Services Institution based in Glasgow and we are hiring for a role within one of theirFinance Teams. This isa global team and the successful candidate would be working in a Finance team facing off to globalstakeholders across the department. Please note that this role will be located in Glasgow and will require a minimum of 2 days in the office per week, sponsorship is not possible for this role.The role will focus on ensuring the reporting of criticial Finance data to regulators and internal stakeholders on a daily and monthly basis. Working in a fast paced envirionment with a dynamic team, the person will need to work with and examinefinancialdata from mutliple sources, workingwith Finance stakeholders to ensure that both internal and external reporting demands are met.Skills and Experience:

  • A qualified accountant, or someone with a related degree and professional experience is required.
  • Experience withinFinancial Services is preferable, specifically withina Finance department, but otherwise wider Professional Services experience as an Accountant or Finance consultant is desirable.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, a naturally inquisitive mind andhighly motivated to learn and develop.
  • A high level of capability to use Microsoft Excel(VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, Functions and Formulasetc)
  • Any experience using tools such as Power BI would be useful
  • Will be able to work under pressure effectively and be able to develop practical solutions to business reporting problems, working within a team.
  • An ability to manage your work load effectively, prioritise and adapt, and develop practical solutions multiple issues.
