Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager for an initial period of 6 monthsClient DetailsOur client is a leading Logisitics businessDescriptionThe role will entail but wont be exclusive to:- Closely manage the cost base by leading an agenda of accounting support, adequate financial controls, alongside asset and budget management and interim forecasting- Establish a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing working practices liaising closely with other Departmental Heads to achieve improved performance- Production of weekly and monthly management accounts- Responsibility of clean auditable balance sheets- Assessing and maximising the return on investment and impact post implementation of any change/project/key initiative and driving any further change that may be needed through the management teamProfileThe successful candidate requires as a minimum:- Qualified Accountant- Experience working for a Logistics company- Experience in a costing environment would be beneficial- Access to their own vehicle as there is an expectation to be in the Covid-Secure officeDue to the urgent nature of the role only immediately available candidate or those with short notice periods will be consideredJob OfferA long term contract in a well respected business Required skills
