Denholm is excited to be partnering with a Manufacturing business based in Glasgow who have an opportunity for an experienced and Qualified Accountant to join the team as Finance Manager on a 12 month Fixed Term contract. Flexible/Hybrid working options are available.You are a technically strong individual with a clear understanding and experience of operational finance end to end processes. You are a strong communicator who can build excellent stakeholder relationships and provide business partnering across the widerbusiness. As a key member of the Finance team, you will hold responsibility for supporting a number of entities across the UK & Europe, holding responsibility for monthly US GAAP reporting. You are a strong people leader who can lead and develop a team, ensuringthere is a customer focused culture. You will be responsible for leading the accounting operations in your designated area, ensuring all financial compliance and control measures are delivered and met, resolving issues as they arise. As part of the role, youwill support the delivery of projects whilst working closely with the wider business and customers. You are confident in providing coaching, mentoring and development of your team.You will be a fully qualified finance professional bringing strong people leadership skills. You will hold a professional accounting qualification including CIMA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent. You have experience of working within a large corporate environmentwith knowledge and understanding of accounting standards. You are a strong people leader with experience of leading a team of Accountants. Experience of US GAAP is essential and Local GAAP / IFRS desirable.
