Dare to innovate, and together, well craft a legacy of transformation.OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for an experience Finance Manager to join our growing Accountancy & Finance function in Glasgow.The business is thriving, award-winning and youd be working with a team that has a successful track record in developing talent and promoting from within. This is a role where you will have impact, help drive the improvement of our processes, and supportthe development of the team.Responsibilities

  • Leading the management accounting team (3 qualified and 4 part-qualified accountants).
  • Develop department objectives, driving change and improvements, whilst supporting the team in their development.
  • Manage the production of accurate management accounts, and relevant commentary, within the agreed reporting timeframes
  • Owner of the annual budgeting process.
  • Build relationships across the regional teams, the off-shore processing team and Corporate Accounting.
  • Take the lead on projects and technical tasks, including the roll-out of a new accounting system.
  • Represent the business at steering committees and on firmwide projects.
  • Ensure SOX requirements are fully met.
Qualifications
  • CA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ability to manage priorities whilst adhering to agreed timeframes
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible when dealing with multiple tasks and environments
  • Prior financial services experience would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
