Job Description

Pertemps are recruiting for an Finance Analyst Business Partner to work on an temp basis with our Public Sector client based in Glasgow. Starting ASAP for 3 months possible extension.Hourly rate £16.26 - 37.5 hours per weekDur to current circumstances the role will be working from homeYou will provide and receive financial information to/from both the business area and the Finance Business Partnering team, and there will be a requirement for a significant amount of investigation and analysis to enable robust monthly monitoring of the financial position which will support decision making.Main Duties:

  • Provide financial information, analysis and advice in the following areas:
  • All aspects of strategic and operational financial management, reporting and governance to directorates including the provision of timely financial reporting and advice to ensure that the directorates financial objectives and statutory requirements are achieved.
  • Financial analysis, advice and presentations to the directorate as required, to ensure full understanding of key financial data.
  • Assessing financial impact of directorate service plans, business cases etc.
  • Ensuring effective governance arrangements are in place.
  • Effective links with other finance functions.
  • Skills:
  • Previous strong Finance experience
  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • Excellent IT skills Word/Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage a busy work load
