Finance AnalystFixed Term Contract Initially until March 2023Glasgow/ Hybrid WorkingSalary Circa £28KAre you a Finance Analyst at an advanced level in ExcelI am looking for a Finance Assistant that will be able to enhance and simplify excel based reporting, analysis and data manipulation models..The role will involve working with the Finance team to identify requirements to maintain, design and build reporting and forecasting models, create comprehensive documentation and pass on key skills to allow the team to adapt and evolve with the business.Key responsibilities* Replacing complex reporting and forecasting spreadsheet models using advanced excel functionality to simplify and streamline processes* Maintain and develop PBI reporting for monthly distribution* Maintain Power Query, VBA and Automate processes for process improvement i.e. Journal creation and data analysis* Maintain Finance systems including Hyperion and Sage 200* Developing new Excel models or improving existing Excel models to deliver appropriate solutionsThe ideal candidate .* Highly skilled and experienced in working with and building data, reporting and forecasting models in Excel, preferably within Finance* Advanced analytic skills in Excel to build robust reporting and analysis models* Highly numerate with strong maths and analytical skills * Knowledge of reporting from databases is essential, with knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Smartview desirable* Experience with Power Query in Excel* Experience with PowerBI would be beneficialFor more information, please apply now or email for more info!
