A well established supplier of building plastics to the construction trade via builders merchants and stockists covering Scotland, Northumberland and Cumbria. PACKAGE: Up to £30k with £5k bonus, company car, laptop and mobile phone. COMPANY: This is a leading name in the market providing a range of high quality products including fascias, soffits, guttering, associated rainwater products and cladding for the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. THE ROLE: Area Sales Manager: Youll be tasked with developing sales across your territory primarily with distributors, this includes builders merchants and stockists. Selling a full range of Fascias, Soffits, Rainwater and cladding products youll inherit a portfolio of existing customers developing those relations and identifying opportunities to increase spend however the main focus of this role is to identify and develop new business in the region. Your time will be split between stockists / distributors and merchants and creating demand with end user installers and conducting exhibitions, tradeshows and breakfast training sessions. Full product training will be given. LOCATION: Field based covering Scotland, Cumbria and Northumberland - ideally living in the central belt of Scotland such as Livingston, Glasgow, Edinburgh or the nearby areas due to the majority of business being based in that area PERSON: This is a great opportunity to work with a successful business who offer great training and development. Ideally you will have some sales experience either in external field sales or internal sales and be proactive, professional and eager to learn. It is important you are self-motivated and target driven and come from a construction products background.
