Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow is currently looking to recruit a Faculty Administrator for a 3 month contract on a rate of £14.11/hour PAYE. Responsibilities:- Assisting in providing day-to-day administration and monitoring of complaints received by Faculty including recording, arranging interviews, note taking and correspondence between Faculty and Complainant until resolve. - With oversight from Executive Assistant and Assistant Faculty Officer, manage diaries of Executive Dean, Faculty Manager including arranging travel where required - Act as first point of contact for the faculty office telephones, including monitor and respond to Faculty Office and Planning mailboxes, highlighting complex issues to senior staff as appropriate - Budget management for Faulty budgets, reconciling outstanding commitments, workflow, recharges, departmental budget and savings analysis, right to work checks - Raising requisitions on FMS - Any other duties as required. Essential Skills:- Qualified to HNC level or at least 6 years’ experience in a range of relevant roles.- Evidence of on-going professional development.- Experience in coordinating Complaints Handling- Excellent IT knowledge and experience- Proven experience of developing and implementing policies, procedures and regulations.- Experience of monitoring budgets and utilising excel - Good attention to detail ensuring a high level of accuracy- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written- Ability to operate with discretion, maintain confidentiality, offer effective advice and exercise good judgment- Polite, friendly, enthusiastic manner and use of initiative- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and develop effective relationships and collaborate with abroad range of people.- Resilience and ability to adapt in response to a fast-moving work environmentDesirable Skills:- A good understanding of the higher education sector and the related policy, funding & regulatory environment.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
