Job Description

Our client, a highly respected Public Sector establishment, based in Glasgow City centre, require an Administrator on a temporary basis. Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Rate of pay will be £10.43 per hour.A minimum Basic Disclosure issued within the last 12 months is a requirement for this position.Main purpose of the role:To provide administrative support to the team.Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the accommodation team mailbox, working flexibly to support the Accommodation Service Manager with general administrative duties all within deadlines
  • Supporting the team with Ad Hoc requests, this includes ordering IT equipment, hospitality and stationery
  • Monitoring facilities management services onsite and assisting external service providers;
  • Booking and managing meeting room facilities
  • Developing good working relationships, and working with teams in wider agency to ensure it functions effectively
  • Use of IT systems to raise purchase orders, processing of invoices and expenses within the timescales expected
  • Support project work in relation to accommodation issues; working with colleagues across Glasgow office sites to deliver priorities and functions
  • Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence in engaging with a range of people across all levels
  • Ability to work as part of a team, maintaining good working relationships and contributing to the teams overall performance
  • Experience and knowledge of facilities management roles and responsibilities
  • Attention to detail and a concern for accuracy
  • This role will involve a blend of working from home and working in the office to support colleagues returning to work so it is essential that you are able to and willing to travel to the office when required
