We believe that we think and behave differently to other London brokers because we know that brand names dont deliver services - people do.The Facilities Management team exists to ensure the integration of processes within an organisation to maintain and develop the agreed services which support and improve the effectiveness of its primary activities.Within the business the facilities management team are responsible for providing a safe and efficient working environment for all staff by managing the services and processes that support the core business functions. On a day to day level this will include: Building Maintenance; Health & Safety; Space & Utilities Management; Security & related Procurement.The facilities management team are continually looking at ways to reduce operating costs and this includes real estate strategy to consolidate leases, periodically tendering or bench marking contracts to make sure we are getting the best value for money and consolidating supplier accounts allowing us to achieve greater discounts on services provided.Overview of Role / Role PurposeThe purpose of the role is to provide efficient and effective caretaking support to the businesses portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards.The incumbent will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified by technical consultants, contractors and manufacturers are adhered toCore Responsibilities
