Our client in the public sector currently requires a FacilitiesAssistant in Central Quay, G3 8BW. The hours of work required for this position are 9 -5pm Monday to Friday. This temporary role is till March but may be extended till June 2023. The payrate for this role is £11.16Facilities Assistant ResponsibilityStart of each day: room set-ups, teas, coffees, water and clear tables throughout the day.Replenish all supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, milk in kitchens and refill cleaner cupboard. (Mondays)Replenish tables with tea bags, sugar, cups, plastic cups when required (daily).Replenish paper in all MFDs (daily).Check MFDs do not require toner, check for paper jams and replenish paper stock in each MFD (daily).Handle other ad hoc equipment in copy pods (working order/ location).Monitor No Shows rooms and desks/usage requirement issues.Provide pens and flipchart paper when required and return pens to the relevant container at the end of the day (daily).Emergency replenishment of hand sanitising gel, PPE supplies around the office.Water cup recycling scheme.Scan waste sheets.Check if blank passes and ribbon are required for the security printer (weekly).Print the prayer times (monthly).Travel Bookings (daily).Monitor the stock sheets for cleaning (Bunzl), catering (Bidfood), Caffia, etc (weekly).Manage telephone overload calls (daily).Check tables in the kitchens are free from any leaflets, promotion posters etc) (weekly).Visitor photocopying requests.Clean and sanitise chairs and flipchart stands after use when there are 2 bookings on same day (daily). End of day: room set-ups, clear rooms, flipchart/ pens (daily).
