More about the role:
  • Continually enhancing guest experience through the day-to-day management of the venue
  • Maintaining healthy client relationships
  • Ensure the smooth planning and delivery of a first-class food and drink products to our clients and customers
  • Continually develop, implement and monitor activities that will enhance team development and engagement and loyalty
  • Delivering consistently against agreed standards e.g., IPOE, HSE Silver Standard, SEC Brand Standards
  • Monitor and review HSE incidents and corrective and preventative actions in all areas under your control
  • Create and implement a marketing plan
  • Be able to adapt to daily and weekly client/customer changes
  • Promote the compass initiative of WE AIM TO DELIGHT focusing on tracking client/customer feedback
  • Actively implement and encourage all aspects of A Thousand Detail Dining initiative with all staff members
  • Forecast and resource plan effectively to ensure that labour costs are low and that all staff members are fully utilised
  • Maximizing sales opportunities within the planning and operation stages of events
  • Identify any additional marketing opportunities
  • Attending weekly business meetings to discuss financial performance of the venue and specific areas
Who you are:
  • Experience in a demanding, high volume, multi-purpose venue
  • An awareness of Corporate Hospitality, Banqueting and Retail sectors
  • Experience of working within a changing environment
  • Experience of working with and/or managing large teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good administration skills
  • A positive and assertive attitude towards work
  • A keen interest in catering operations
  • Although not essential, a personal license would be particularly beneficial in this role
What youll be doing: As our Events Operations Manager you will supportour departmentOperations Managers to run the food and drinks aspects across all events across the campus. Managing a team of people and event processes across an array of exciting events.This is a great opportunity to work within one of the busiest event campuses in Europe where no two days are the same.
