For more than 350 years and across the worldwe have passionately pursued our curiosity to find novel and vibrant ways of enhancing the lives of others.As part of ongoing expansion of the Molecular Biology department, we are recruiting for an Equipment Specialist.The Equipment Specialist shall work under the direction of laboratory management with responsibility to ensure effective maintenance of businesscritical, specialist Molecular Biology equipment; with particular focus on extraction robotics, thermal cycling and liquid handling instrumentation. The Equipment Specialist shall be responsible for ensuring that equipment and instrumentation is availablefor use by laboratory staff; including routine calibration/maintenance and breakdown management. In addition, the Equipment Specialist shall be responsible for management of projects related to the introduction of new equipment and software to the department.The Equipment Specialist will be required to liaise closely with cross-functional teams within the business and external vendors. They will comply with all relevant company policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure business critical instruments and systemscomply with current GxP standards, ensuring all documentation is completed in adherence with GxP regulations and company procedures.Duties include:
