Never before has environmental awareness been so prevalent on the world stage. But here at ScottishPower Renewables, its always been top of our agenda. Our Environment Team are advocates for our business, ensuring that our renewables generation has minimumimpact on nature and the environment. Whether its environmental impact assessments or community engagement initiatives, our concern for the environment is one of our primary objectives and were looking for an Environment graduate who shares our passion.One of the most topical outputs of COP26 was the agreement to phase out coal-fuelled generation. While were ahead of the game on that front, it increases the pressure to generate MORE cleaner, greener electricity. And with that comes increased demand forsuitable wind generation sites. Youll become part of the team who helps us navigate and step up to this challenge. Our Environmental experts will play a key role in reviewing our project requirements, scoping and assessing sites to consider the environmentalimpacts of offshore infrastructure, as we strive to increase our generation with minimal impact. Providing specialist advice on environmental compliance and engaging with the latest academic materials, youll be helping to deliver projects from consents todecommissioning, giving you end to end experience of the project life cycle.We want to hear from you NOW if you have, or expect to achieve, an Honours Degree (or equivalent) at a minimum of 2:2 in anEnvironmental, Consents, Planning, Geotechnicaldegree or similar.
