Job Description

FPSGs client, a highly respected law firm in the central belt of Scotland, is seeking an English-qualified Real Estate Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE to join their team. The successful candidate will work on a range of real estate matters, including acquisitionsand disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and real estate finance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a range of real estate matters
  • Drafting and negotiating leases, licences and other real estate documents
  • Conducting due diligence on behalf of clients in real estate transactions
  • Providing legal opinions and advice on real estate matters
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Keeping up to date with legal developments and changes to relevant laws and regulations
  • Supporting senior solicitors on more complex transactions
Key Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 2-5 years PQE
  • Experience in real estate law, gained at a reputable law firm
  • Strong understanding of English real estate law and experience working with English law documents and terminology
  • Good knowledge of Scottish real estate law and willingness to learn and develop in this area
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and develop
