About the Role You will be advising commercial clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment related queries. Our work is fast-paced and offers huge variety, covering the full spectrum of employment law matters.You will be involved in advising commercial clients in relation to:* day-to-day employment queries, such as disciplinary and grievance matters, maternity/family leave issues and working time questions;* more strategic projects such as compliance with new legal requirements;* senior executive issues, including negotiating appointments and exits;* collective matters such as restructuring, redundancies, integration and TUPE;* industrial relations and trade union matters;* employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation* corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, business transfers and outsourcings.Our team plays a central role in CMS as a global provider of employment legal advice and regularly advises clients on cross-jurisdictional projects. About You You will be an experienced employment associate or senior associate looking to be part of a growing, successful and dynamic team. A strong academic record and lots of enthusiasm are a must, as you will be expected to hit the ground running.We would be interested in applications for any of our Scottish offices - Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
