Job Description

Our client is a globally recognised, market leading International giant within the hospitality sector. They are offering a fantastic opportunity to join their Marketing team on an ongoing contract basis, with a strong chance of becoming a permanent member ofthe team. The role is hybrid based in Glasgow.As an Email+Mobile Marketing Analyst, you will be the Champion of Possibility for transactional and marketing campaigns that will drive engagement and grow customer loyalty for all the companys brands. They are looking for an enthusiastic, curious, technologistand innovative team member with a dream to think beyond the day-to-day and envision what could be. You will work closely with the Transactional, Technology and larger Marketing teams to develop, test, and execute transactional campaigns in the email channel.Key responsibilities and competencies

  • Utilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email.
  • Develop/Modify, segment, target, track, test and deploy personalized email templates and existing campaigns using a large Email Service Provider (ESP).
  • Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility.
  • Proficient in responsive email design and front-end development.
  • Technology focused individual with proven track record of languages including HTML, CSS, XSLT (Knowledge of either JavaScript or SQL or Python or Liquid or jQuery or PHP an advantage)
  • Quality focused and detail oriented
  • Ability to deliver a high quality of work, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate highly detailed technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem prevention, solving and resolution skills from both analytical and conceptual opportunities.
  • Experience with email editing software (adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc.)
  • Beneficial working knowledge of GIT (SourceTree), Postman, JIRA, Airtable
  • Passionate about the email industry and motivated to learn more with a desire to influence and drive improvements across the team (white papers, case studies, Knowledge base share sessions).
Key Skills Required:
  • Minimum Education: BA/BS Bachelors Degree or comparable technical field, or work experience that demonstrates comparable technical abilities required
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Graduate +
  • Proficient in at least two of the following languages: HTML, CSS, XSLT
  • Experience with email editing software (adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc.)
  • Beneficial working knowledge of GIT (SourceTree), Postman, JIRA.
  • High quality presentation and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, JSON
  • Understanding of mobile marketing advantageous
