Job Description

Electronics Engineer: Glasgow: MusicOur client is a world leader in high performance audio design.Their product range spans the entire audio chain and they take pride in developing unique engineering solutions that push the boundaries of domestic audio reproduction.They are growing their Electronics team and are seeking an innovative, motivated Electronics Engineer to help define and develop their next generation of world class audio products.This is a full-time position in the office on the outskirts of Glasgow (albeit theyre currently working from home where possible). You will ideally have commercial experience that demonstrates a flair for innovative design and creative problem solving.Your Responsibilities Will Include • Researching and developing new technology platforms• Designing electronics hardware solutions for their extensive product range• Collaborating closely with other disciplines, including Software, Mechanical Design, and Acoustics• Providing technical leadership, ideally owning the technology roadmap for a particular area You should be confident in both analog and digital design, specifically:• Low-noise, low-distortion analog circuit design• A-D and D-A conversion techniques• FPGA system design (VHDL/Verilog) Ideally you will also have good working knowledge of some of the following:• DSP techniques and algorithms• Linear and Class-D power amplifiers• Design for EMC and safety compliance• PCB layout Required skills
