Job Description

Electrician, domestic ventilation (extractors) installation across the Central Belt of Scotland. Girling Jones require a Domestic Electrician to oversee the Central Belt Scotland / Glasgow, you will be joining a stable and progressive national business that work within the condensation and mould prevention sector.Day to day,

  • Carry out ventilation product installations to various Social Housing, Commercial, and private clients across the Central Belt
  • When required, carry out basic mould treatment and decoration
  • Carry out IRR, (Inspect, Repair, Replace) service to existing ventilation products
  • Duties will extend beyond electrical, the Mobile Engineer will have a core skill set of domestic electrical installation although you may be required to get involved in various duties to include core drilling, sealed glass unit installations etc
    • What youll need to succeed,
  • NVQ / C&G 2/3 in Electrical Installations
  • Part P qualified (Domestic installations)
  • Competent in Electrical installations of a minor works nature and qualified to a minimum 18th Edition Regs BS7671 and hold a Domestic Electrical Installers certificate or equivalent
  • Be conversant with current building regulations (part P)
  • Competent in the use of core drills
  • Competent with Sealed unit (glass) installs
  • Good general trade skills involved in installation of Ventilation Fans, PPS, PVs etc
  • Wiliness to be CRB Checked
  • General awareness of Health and Safety practices
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence
  • Ideally, Experience with mechanical Ventilation and Extraction products.
