Job Description

Electrical Design Engineer - Energy GlasgowOffice Based£30,000 - £45,000Wild Recruitment are proud to be working with a national leader in the energy industry looking to expand their Engineering Solutions Division working on multiple new and exciting projects within the distributed energy emerging market. My client are looking to grow their Distributed Energy team in a really exciting area in the companys portfolio. The role is focused on supporting and undertaking the development of design for electrical distribution projects for a variety of customers adhering to all relevant legislation and design standards.The role entails developing detailed, innovative engineering solutions to optimize scope, cost, Programme, risk. This role is pivotal as my client begin to ramp up their work within the emerging Distributed Energy Market.Working within the distributed energy industry you will be required to support and develop the design of Electrical Distribution projects for a multitude of customers.Your responsibilities will include: Electrical Distribution Network Designs

  • Providing design service and support across our developing EV Sector.
  • Develop HV & LV Electrical Distribution Network Designs, compliant with NERS.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Operating a Peer Review systems
    • Technical Project Support to Distributed Energy
  • Plan, develop and coordinate solutions to meet the needs of internal and external clients.
    • About You:
  • Degree Level Educated Electrical Engineer
  • Charted/ Incorporated Engineer Preferential
  • Solid Record in Delivering design engineering, ideally through RIBA Stages.
  • Confident with NERS Design submission and approval process.
  • Confident liaising with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Continuously innovating
  • Happy taking ownership for key projects and driving them forward.
