Job Description

eCommerce Assistant | Glasgow | up to £25k BasicZachary Daniels Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful retailer, on the appointment of a eCommerce Assistant position. Based in Glasgow, our client is fast paced and entrepreneurial and requires someone with high energy and a desireto progress their career within online retail.In the position of eCommerce Assistant you will be supporting the wider eCommerce team in the successful trading of the online business. Key responsibilities in the position of eCommerce Assistant will include:

  • Ensure product uploads are accurate & conversion optimised
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the planning & purchasing team to ensure stock/inventory and pricing is up to date
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of existing Shopify platform websites including copywriting, merchandising & user experience.
  • Set, manage, and report on KPIs to measure weekly and monthly performance of site (covering sales, traffic, ROI).
  • Build product collections based on current campaign activity, stock availability and industry opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the social and content team to ensure consistent message across all platforms.
  • Assist in the creation, planning & reporting of email marketing campaigns
To be considered for the position of eCommerce Assistant, you must demonstrate the following:
  • 3 years experience operating at a similar level within a fast paced, online retail environment
  • Highly analytical with strong numerical skills
  • Proactive entrepreneurial attitude and a "can do" approach to challenges who thrives under pressure
  • Strong knowledge of CMS, Shopify & Magento
  • An energetic and vibrant personality
  • A hunger to trade categories, demonstrating both a reactive and strategic approach
