Job Description

The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Doorsets Sales Support to join us at George Boyd in Glasgow. Doorsets Sales Support enables sales growth within the specialism nationally through close collaboration with the Business Development Managers and wider branch network to develop existing customer accounts, as well as targeting and securing new business opportunities. If you have sales administration experience and a passion for customer service, this could be the role for you!What were looking for in a Doorsets Sales Support:

  • Support the Contracts & Estimator Manager with the effective management of all Doorset orders, utilising data and KPI tools to enable the tracking of conversion rates. Working in collaboration with the BDM Team, Branch network and Suppliers to ensure all relevant information to follow up on leads and secure business is shared.
  • Adapt to and resolve any issues that may arise in terms of meeting customer needs, through working collaboratively with all internal customers, to resolve any arising issues, and implement new processes to continually develop the internal value and efficiency proposition.
  • Work pro-actively with the Business Development Managers, Contracts and Estimating Manager, Estimators and Suppliers to ensure all Doorset sales and purchase orders are managed and processed effectively and in a timely manner, ensuring excellent supply chain management.
  • Support the development of Doorset colleagues through informal learning opportunities; including advising on Doorset systems and procedures, enhancing the customer experience through the increased availability of Doorset knowledge.
    • What were looking for in a Doorsets Sales Support:
  • Administration experience
  • Computer literate with experience of excel, particularly using formulas
  • Great customer service skills
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Product and Experience in Ironmongery and Doorset Manufacture would be an advantage
