Pertemps client are looking for a Digital User Researcher, who will be based in Glasgow. This role will be working within an Agile team, developing online services for external and internal users. The external users include victims of crime and specialist support organisations, so it is important that you have experience of working with vulnerable groups and feel comfortable working on subjects which can be upsetting. Ideally you would have public sector/government experience.This role is inside IR35. The pay rate will be up to £550 per day.The ability to include many kinds of users in appropriate research activitiesExperience of helping teams adopt user-centred service design and delivery practices and embed them into their workflowsExperience of advocating for user research and engaging sceptical colleagues and stakeholdersExpertise in identifying and using appropriate analysis and synthesis techniques, and presenting and sharing findings.Proven experience of guiding colleagues in the choice and effective application of research methodsScope, plan, conduct, analyse and communicate researchLead colleagues to analyse and synthesise research dataCommunicate research findings across the organisation.Work closely with product managers, designers and developers to turn user research findings into actions that lead to valuable product and service designsRequired skillsAgile Environment User Researchsensitive and highly ethical in their approach to user researchadept at communicating user needs to organisational stakeholderscomfortable with using quantitative and qualitative research methodsgreat storytellers and communicatorsvery good at collaborating in a dynamic, data-driven, creative environmentevidence of extensive application of User research methods in product and service development.Years of experience of running user research as part of a user-centred design process and will have delivered products and services in Agile environments.A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or related field
