Job Description

Company: DF Concerts & EventsLocation: 272 St Vincent Street, GlasgowReporting to: Senior Marketing ManagerWorking hours: Full-time, Permanent ContractRole DescriptionThe main purpose of the role is to effectively contribute to the Marketing and Communications function with a focus on Social Media and Digital Marketing. The candidate will be required to create a digital marketing strategy across all brands, as well ascreating engaging content and monitoring and responding to fans across the companys 20+ social media channel. They will also be required to manage data and insights and implement changes based on this data. Creativity and digital data analysis are key aspectsof this role, as is establishing strong relationships with artist social media contacts.DF Concerts bring the best live music and life affirming experiences to music fans across Scotland, year after year. Throughout their 1,000 concerts per year, DF Concerts work with some of the biggest names in music as well as champion the career progressionof newly established acts. Having previously organised Scotlands largest music festival, T in the Park, from 1994 to 2016, the company added the inaugural TRNSMT Festival to the line-up in 2017. DF Concerts is also responsible for the 35k capacity GlasgowSummer Sessions and the 6K capacity Edinburgh Summer Sessions, held against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. Additionally, the company owns and operates, "quite possibly the finest small venue in the world", King Tuts Wah Wah Hut - supporting the vibrantmusic scene from grassroots level, up.Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the team develop and implement the overall digital strategy for all DF brands to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Compile and distribute regular reports on all digital activity to internal team and key stakeholders, utilising data to evaluate marketing efficacy and contribute with recommendations based on results.
  • Manage the maintenance of all DF websites, including SEO, new website launches and updates, first party data and pixels to ensure proper use and execution.
  • Liaise with DFs existing website, digital and comms agencies to enhance customer experience and ensure brand consistency.
  • Utilise copywriting and content creation skills to establish a clear and consistent tone of voice for each DF brand.
  • Manage our festival digital channels, including social media, websites, and email to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Identify new digital trends and technologies and work with the team to implement them across our channels.
  • Establish close working relationships with key artists digital marketing teams on the DF portfolio.
  • Input to creative ideas generation across all brands and for new events / projects.
  • Work with Sponsorship team to establish clever sponsorship/content deals across all brands.
RequirementsSkills / Knowledge / Experience
  • Degree in Marketing (or relevant) or proven experience in a Digital Marketing or Social Media role based in a fast-paced working
  • First class knowledge and understanding of key social media platforms e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube.
  • In-depth experience with digital analytics and insights tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and highly analytical with the ability to translate data into accountable insights.
  • Proven track record in running numerous brand digital channels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • A demonstrable, rounded understanding of the full marketing mix including communications and digital marketing.
  • Proven SEO experience
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Excellent copywriting and interpersonal skills
  • The drive to take initiative, work independently and be accountable while also working as a team player who is collaborative, positive, and flexible
  • Experience working with content management systems and email marketing software
