We have a new contract role in central Glasgow (working remotely for now) for a DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years experience to join a high-profile organisation. It is outside IR35 and the contract is renewable for almost 2 years.To be considered you should have expertise in Kubernetes, Linux and AWS, with experience of using Hashicorp tooling - Vault and Terraform. You should have strong Linux skills too - RedHat/Amazon Linux/CentOS.You should be able to demonstrate best practice in containerisation and you should have experience of delivering CI/CD pipelines. You should have used a version control system and any exposure to Istio service mesh would be a big advantage.You should have experience of managing infrastructure as code, catering for multiple environment differences and experience with Terragrunt. Any experience of working in a regulated environment such as financial services or government would be a bonus.The role will be initially remote but once things reopen you will be expected to be in the Glasgow office for a maximum of 2 days per week.If you are a talented DevOps Engineer with the above skills and are looking for a solid long-term contract then this role is ideal for you.
