Job Description

DevOps EngineerFPSG have partnered up with a global financial organisation that are quickly becoming leaders within their market. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of major developments and really have the chance to make an impact.Due to the continuous growth within the business, we are supporting with the search to find a DevOps Engineer for a role based at a very modern office in Glasgow.You will be an experienced hands on Engineer that will take lead throughout projects and have a real interest in managing, maintaining and developing platform systems. You will be be working in collaboration with other offices throughout the UK and on occasion,travel may be required depending on each office requirements.About You:

  • 3 years experience within an AWS DevOps environment.
  • Understanding of programming languages (Python, Bash, Java)
  • Solid background using AWS platform.
  • Great exposure to containerisation, preferably Docker.
  • Keen interest in building scalable functioning platforms.
  • Analytic mindset for troubleshooting.
  • Adaptable through ever changing environments.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work loads.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for technology.
Skills Required:
  • Java
  • Bash & Python scripting.
  • Honeycomb, InfluxDB and Grafana.
  • AWS deployments.
  • GitLab, Jira, Confluence, ZenDesk.
  • Nomad, Consul & HA Proxy orchestrations.
  • CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and deploy software services.
