Job Description

Experienced Data Cabling Engineer required for installation projects. You should have recent experience, previous knowledge of commercial Cat5e/Cat6/Wireless and AV installation.Duties and responsibilities

  • Structured cabling within Copper,shielded - Cat 6 / Cat 6A, Voice & Fibre Termination and Testing practices to manufacturers specification.
  • In addition, work with various other types of cabling systems such as Security, AV, PA, Co-ax, and telephony.
    • Skills & Knowledge
  • Proven experience of working with all aspects of Structured cabling Systems with Cat6 & 6A experience preferred.
  • Valid CSCS card & additional training certifications would be an advantage.
  • Excellent client service
  • Full valid UK Driving License,
  • Flexible regarding working hours and willingness to travel
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Hardworking and self-motivated.
  • Able to prioritise effectively and work to set timescales and within programme.
  • Can work well with little supervision individually and within a team environment.
    • Duties will include running cable through floor, wall and ceiling space, mounting access points and terminating outlets & panels to a high standard. Some containment experience would also be necessary, with a good knowledge of installing plastic containment to necessary standards.ECS card desirable. Required skills
